Wordsworth had a very miserable childhood as his mother died when he was 7 years old. He was an orphan at the age of 13. These were regarded some great losses of his life but he continued to work hard. He had written his first poetry at HawksHead Grammar School. He graduated from Cambridge University at 1791.
